The Concierge Banker is responsible for providing exceptional service to an existing portfolio of concierge banking clients and managing growth through proactive business development. Position is accountable for loan, deposit and revenue growth and the management of complex financial solutions and transactions. The Concierge Banker will act as the lead relationship manager and responsible party for delivery and referral of all State Bank Financial products and services. Understands and completes job responsibilities in accordance with federal and state compliance regulations.- Deliver a distinctive client experience that leverages our unique value proposition through the referral of investment management, financial planning and advisory services spanning wealth, mortgage, brokerage, and commercial banking.

- Development and execution of a customized client plans to achieve new client acquisition, business line referrals and product/business line penetration inside portfolios; achievement of retention objectives; and consistent portfolio growth.

- Responsible for growth in core retail banking portfolios (loan and deposit) and revenue growth.

- Ability to articulate and be conversant in our business offerings as well as financial industry topics/trends and financial planning topics.

- Understand clients financial objectives through consistent purposeful discovery process.

- Complete timely and accurate documentation of client relationship information.

- Educate clients on self-service capabilities and encourage use of digital service channels.

- Engage State Bank clients by welcoming them with a warm friendly smile, pleasant demeanor, using the clients name, whenever possible, and thanking them for doing business with State Bank.

- Listens carefully to the client and willingly assists with any questions or problems the client has.

- Network with market Centers of Influence to create and receive mutually beneficial referrals between State Bank Financial and the referral source.

**Essential Job Functions**

**Minimum Qualifications**

- An associate or bachelors degree in business or related course work is required.

- Four years in the financial industry in a client facing business development role

- Possess or willing to obtain Life & Health and Series 7 certification.

- Strong working knowledge of MS Office products; ability to effectively utilize State Bank Financial operating systems

- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration or the ability to obtain NMLS registration.

- Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and financial/banking industry product knowledge, superior client service, and the ability to interact with clients and associates at all levels.

- Must possess ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential customer and Bank information; legible handwriting; effective problem-solving skills.

**Equipment Used**

Operates personal computer in a Windows environment for word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet/intranet and other bank specific software. Utilizes a variety of office equipment including: computer printer, ten-key calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and multi-line telephone.

**Working Conditions**

Work is performed largely in an office environment, during normal business hours. Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job. Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage and reading/assimilating complex and technical compliance information is required. Position will alternate between walking, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds of office supplies and/or documents throughout work shift.
