A packaging technician works on an assembly line in Assembly. As a packaging technician, you assemble products to specification.
Will be required to select proper tooling and quality gauges for the work order.
Ensure that parts pulled and packed are to print, bill of material, and packing instructions.
Will be required to install tooling in proper position on the machinery.
Will be required to correctly adjust tooling to insure part is produced to print specifications.
Will be required to use hand tools.
May Operate industrial fork truck (stand up and gas) as needed in loading or moving materials and products.
Will be required to perform TPM on equipment as directed.
May be required to set and adjust safety equipment.
Perform all other functions of the job as required.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Previous work experience in related field helpful.
Must pass test for blue print reading and reading precision measuring equipment.
Must be able to lift (10-50 lbs), bend, stoop, climb and reach.
