* Assist the Warehouse Manager in the successful and timely flow of production

* Safely operate forklifts and other types of materials handling equipment

* Perform & document forklift safety inspections

* Safely load / unload trucks, trailers and ocean containers

* Accurately weigh, measure and document all shipments.

* Ability to re-package, re-palletize and uncrate freight as directed

* Maintain safe and orderly freight and product storage

* Maintain a safe, secure, clean and orderly warehouse

* Ability to accurately pick orders

* Ability to accurately maintain inventory control and cycle counting

* Perform product inspection and re-packaging per customer specifications

* Process small parcel shipments (UPS / FedEx)

* Ability to supervise offsite loading, unloading and installation activities

* Arrange transport of local and regional shipments

* Ability to use radio to coordinate trailer movements with switcher to designated docks

* Create and retrieve bill of ladings, shippers and master labels from the trailer and verify parts match

* Ability to identify, document, and report damage to parts and trailers to supervision

* Ability to work in fast paced warehouse environment around moving powered industrial equipment

* Manage multiple customers across the globe coordinating shipments between multiple carriers and modes of transportation

* Perform other duties as assigned by manager

**EDUCATIONAL and EXPERIENCE**

**REQUIREMENTS and PREFERENCES:**

* High school diploma / GED; prefer post-secondary education

* Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, depending on business needs

* Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, both orally and in writing

* Detail oriented with ability to solve problems independently as well as in a team environment

* Demonstrated experience interacting, developing and maintaining customer relationships

* Proven success in and improving quality, service, safety and client relationships in a fast-paced high-pressure setting

* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products

* Ability to safely operate a Powered Industrial Truck and receive certification

* Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and regulations (OSHA)

* Ability to pass all TSA background requirements

* Ability to understand and comply with EMCP (Export Management & compliance Program)

**ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:**

**WORK ENVIRONMENT:**

Work time is spent in a warehouse environment around moving powered industrial equipment, where temperatures are hot or cold (seasonally), and frequently may be subjected to loud noises.
