Description

• Operation of forklift (eg. Reach, Stand Up, Sit Down, Counterbalance, Clamp, Slip, Electric Pallet Jack)
• Maintain high level of customer service
• Use of RF Scanning equipment (where applicable)
• Maintain work area in clean and hazard free condition
• Must be flexible and able to perform all duties and responsibilities of utility person

Minimum Requirements

• 1 year experience operating a forklift preferred
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to pass Eclipse Forklift Certification course (both written and operational)
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks without repeated instruction or constant supervision
• Work as a member of a team to achieve a common goal
• Read, write and speak English as required by safety standards and job expectations
• Must be able to perform duties required in a safe manner abiding by all safety guidelines and instructions
• The ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment - continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Mount and dismount fork trucks frequently throughout the shift in the OSHA approved manner
• The ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
