We are searching for a Global Tax Manager to join our team at Graebel Companies, Inc., who will be responsible for the management, review and filing of all domestic and international tax compliance requirements and tax provisioning. Additionally, will prepare and review complex tax planning projections for corporate estimated tax liability and provides support to the operational needs of the organization. The ideal person has experience in both domestic and international taxation issues. Additional experience in mobility, international relocation and expatriate tax regulations is preferred, as is experience implementing tax process improvements, preparing, reviewing, and submitting tax reports for domestic and international operations.

Required Skills

Principal/Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for all organizational tax areas such as domestic and international government tax compliance, VAT, GST and sales and use taxes. Demonstrates knowledge in the aforementioned and ability to execute to completion.

Develop strategic tax planning opportunities and provide on-going tax consultation services to all internal clients.

Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries and tax notices. Communicate with IRS and clients in connection with audits, inquiries and tax notices. Communicate directly with existing clients, management and IRS representatives regarding various tax matters.

Support ongoing activities of the operations and legal teams, ensuring compliance with tax issues. Collaborates in contract structuring/guidance relative to tax-specific issues.

Consult on tax law, taxation of international transactions and new tax regulations. Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by management and clients.

Coordinates with foreign offices and leaders to ensure a quality and timely delivery of all services, including general international tax and local regulatory filings.

Work closely with Treasury on global cash management, repatriation and foreign exchange risk management strategies.

Demonstrate knowledge in mobility, international relocation and expatriate tax regulations; Responsible for implementing tax process improvement, preparing, reviewing and submitting tax reports for domestic and international operations.

Performs other related essential duties as assigned or requested.

Required Experience

Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance. Master s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of five years of experience preparing all types of tax returns with a public CPA firm or private company; experience in both domestic and international taxation issues; experience in mobility, international relocation and expatriate tax regulations is preferred; experience as tax preparer, corporate finance, investment management or financial advisor would be helpful; Attention to detail, Advance math and accounting; ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external clients.

Additional Experience: Experience in the following: International Tax Law; skilled in research techniques, tax return preparation and taxation of international transactions; Areas of experience and expertise: US and international government tax compliance, international compensation tax compliance, VAT, GST and sales and use taxes; Additional experience in mobility, international relocation and expatriate tax regulations.

Licenses/Certifications: CPA preferred
