About the Role
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Check prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and physician instructions.
* Identify and resolve prescribing, formulary, and therapeutic issues, collaborating proactively with healthcare providers to recommend formulary substitutions when deemed appropriate.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
* Provide prospective drug utilization review (DUR) to maintain high quality assurance practices
* Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and medication-related questions.
* Meet pharmacy services service levels agreements (SLAs) and accuracy/quality targets.
Requirements
* A valid Minnesota pharmacist license in good standing required
* 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, retail pharmacy setting is preferred
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* You have a strong passion for helping people and delivering exceptional patient care outcomes and can work flexible pharmacy hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
