Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility located in Richmond, VA, 23836. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our equipment and machinery. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, as well as experience with servo motors, variable frequency drives (VFD), programmable logic controllers (PLC), conveyor systems, PLC programming, and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC)
• Work with servo motors and variable frequency drives (VFD)
• Maintain and repair conveyor systems
• Utilize mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues
• Perform hydraulic system maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
• Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting
• Experience with servo motors and variable frequency drives (VFD)
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and PLC programming
• Familiarity with conveyor systems and their maintenance
• Hydraulics experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• High level of safety consciousness
