We invite applications for a fellowship trained General Pathologist for our Regional Pathology Lab located in Rockville, MD.


In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. What you can expect:

  • To join an energetic, tenured team of 17 collegial Pathologists, all of whom are organ-specific fellowship-trained
  • Utilize your fellowship training to provide expert diagnostic evaluations for surgical and non-gyn cytology cases, frozen sections and immediate interpretation of Interventional Radiology cases, encompassing the use of traditional slides as well as digital pathology for diagnosis
  • Accurately interpret pathology findings, prepare comprehensive reports, and communicate results to healthcare providers, assisting them in developing appropriate treatment plans
  • Support of in-house immunostain menu (+200 stains) and Molecular NGS Laboratory cases with interesting and varied pathologic diseases from across Maryland, DC, and Virginia
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Use of state-of-the-art Digital Pathology platforms for sign-out in a brand-new facility / office
  • Act as medical director at an off-site KPMAS lab overseeing laboratory testing processes, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Stay current with advances in pathology through continuous learning and research
  • Participate in quality assurance programs to improve the accuracy and efficiency of pathology services


What we require:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
  • Minimum of 2 years of attending service work as a Pathologist
  • Completion of a fellowship (GI, GU, Breast, GYN, Soft tissue, General Surgical Pathology, Cytology) from an accredited institution
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
