Our client is a prominent corporation known for its expertise in sourcing, manufacturing, and servicing industrial equipment across various industries including refining, oil and gas, power, chemical, petrochemical, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors. Their wide range of industrial equipment encompasses pressure relief valves (PRVs), control valves, line valves, electric actuators, instrumentation, pumps, blowers, mechanical seals, and fluid sealing applications.

Valve repair has been a cornerstone of our client's business for over 34 years and continues to grow. In the role of a Valve Technician, the candidate would perform the essential duties of new valve assembly and valve repair, certification of various types of valves both in shop and onsite at customers.

- Follow all safety and quality procedures and regulations

- Operate equipment such as overhead hoists, sand blaster, parts washer, propylene torch, and so on

- Disassemble valves without damaging parts per the manufacturer's installation and operation manual

- Document and enter job data into their database and document photos

- Coordinate with office personnel on repair requirements

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Maintain equipment in area, as required

- Clean, blast, and paint valve components

- Return valves and parts to the proper bins, boxes, and so on

- Assemble, calibrate, tag and certify valves per the manufacturer's repair manuals

- You may be required to help in field assignments

- You may be required to climb and work at various elevations depending on scope of the job

- Operate a motor vehicle, as required

- Attend job and safety training, as necessary or required
