The role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to join our team in Carpentaria, CA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent and reliable operation of our cutting-edge agricultural equipment and systems. As a Maintenance Technician at Soli Organic, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including maintaining piping and irrigation systems, debugging electrical control panels, conducting preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, assisting the engineering team in building prototypes, and monitoring equipment performance.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Piping and Irrigation System maintenance, Ensure the seamless operation of piping and irrigation systems by conducting regular inspections, identifying and resolving issues promptly, and performing necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot and debug electrical control panels to ensure the efficient functioning of our controlled environment agriculture chambers and equipment. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and upgrades.
- Execute routine preventative maintenance on mechanical systems to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and controlled environmental agriculture chambers. Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule.
- Work closely with the engineering team to assist in the construction of novel indoor agriculture equipment prototypes. Provide valuable insights and contribute technical expertise to enhance the design and functionality of new equipment.
- Utilize advanced monitoring tools to track equipment performance and identify potential issues proactively. Implement adjustments and improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
Required Skills/Abilities: - Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, electrical control panels, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Requirements
Education and Experience: - High school diploma, GED, or similar
- 15+ years of experience working as a maintenance technician working in manufacturing or industrial facility.
- Previous forklift and scissor lift certification
Location: - Soli Organic R&D, Carpinteria, California. Salary range: $70,000 to $95,000 depending on experience.
