Independent Contractor - Part Time/Seasonal

About Founding Track Coach

Coaching at GGA starts with our mission in mind; this opportunity is about extending the mission beyond the classroom which includes building strong relationships, focusing on safety in all its forms, and developing girls to be leaders in the world. We are looking for a coach with the skills needed to successfully develop student athletes and understand that academics come first.

Qualifications

  • You have at least one to two years of experience in coaching
  • Coaching experience in Track or other running sports preferred
  • CPR Certification - Required
  • First Aid Training - Required
  • Coaching Certification - Preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the program from the ground up including skills based learning, character development, promote sportsmanship
  • Promote the team and assist with recruiting student of student athletes
  • Create and plan practice and game schedules
  • Coach the team and individuals to help them development their individual skills and teamwork
  • Attend all scheduled events - including practice, games, banquets, coaches meeting, etc
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with families

Compensation

  • Contracted and Part Time Position
  • Stipend is based on experience and scope but would range between 2,000 to 5,000
