**Description**
The Central Community Health Board (CCHB) of Hamilton County is currently seeking a contingent **Residential Support Specialist** to work within our Crisis Stabilization program. Residential Support Specialists will monitor clients activities and assists clients in completing rehabilitation Keep daily records of activities and reaction of clients. Contingent staff will pick up available shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or weekends).
**Job Duties:**
* Supervise and/or assist residents with daily living activities.
* Assist or prepare client resident meals.
* Knowledge of the individualized care plan for residents and provision of support to the resident according to the care plan. Contribute to the care planning process by providing the clinical team with specific information and observations of the residents needs and preferences.
* Maintain accurate, complete and appropriate clinical records in a timely manner.
* Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloves where indicated, and proper disposal of soiled materials.
* Organize, develop and implement planned recreational/educational activities.
* Transport clients to appointments, social activities etc. as determined by job assignment and in accordance with driving policies.
* Responsible for the completion of all scheduled tasks, care of residents and the facility (including maintenance and cleaning).
* Must be available for back-up and emergency shift coverage as needed. Able to work a flexible schedule.
* Participates in training and development programs to enhance knowledge, skills and personal service networks.
* Maintains courtesy and professionalism with staff and clients at all times.
* Understands and maintains professional boundaries in client interactions.
* Must complete trainings as specified by agency, licensing, funding and/or accreditation boards.
* Utilizes IT system and other system software programs appropriately.
**Requirements:**
* Ability to work with people with emotional problems.
* A specific field of study may be required.
* Certified in CPR, First Aid, AED.
* Annual Personal Care Training.
