Job Opportunity: Groveport, OH
Our client is looking to hire a Sewing Technician for their manufacturing facility out of Groveport. They are a premium pillow and comforter manufacturer who recently opened their doors in 2018!
Our client is looking for someone with experience troubleshooting and performing maintenance on a variety of sewing machines to ideally include Juki, Adler, or Pegasus machines.
Successful candidates will have proven experience with maintenance on sewing machines within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sewing machine maintenance and repair
- Ability to conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service
- Ability to provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of Sewing production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of Sewing production equipment during machine service
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Ability to control and inform spare parts inventory needs to the purchase department
- Knowledge of Juki, Adler, and Pegasus sewing machines
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up Sewing machinery for scheduled production runs
- Perform, but not limited to, mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair of automated and manual production sewing machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Responsible for working according to the company"s safety and quality standards
- Perform Preventive Maintenance in the sewing equipment every other Saturday, according to company needs
