Overview

We are in search of an enthusiastic research technician to join our team. This research technician will be an integral part of our team, which utilizes an innovative new platform for the rapid, high throughput discovery of immune-oncology targets and therapeutic antibodies to combat ovarian and pancreatic cancer.

We are seeking motivated individuals who will perform mammalian cell culture, antibody screening, molecular biology, antibody/protein engineering, target validation, and antibody characterization to support our discovery efforts. This is a unique opportunity to learn many different aspects of therapeutic antibody discovery, molecular biology, and cell biology as an integral part of our highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Mammalian 2D and 3D cell culture
    * Flow cytometry-based screening assays
    * Cloning of overexpression, knock-down, and knock-out constructs
    * Cell line generation using state-of-the-art genetic technologies
    * Development and execution of assays for biochemical and biophysical characterization of antibodies
    * Biochemical based target identification
    * Laboratory maintenance duties



    Qualifications

    * Bachelor degree required; BS/MS in biomedical sciences or related discipline or those with significant demonstrated experience in molecular and/or cell biology strongly preferred.
    * In depth knowledge and hands-on experience with basic molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or immunology techniques
    * Self-motivation and collaborative spirit
    * Eagerness to learn new techniques and take on new challenges
    * Organizational skills and detail oriented
    * Excellent interpersonal skills
