This client sells and supports two-way radios, mobile phones and computers, surveillance cameras, barcode scanners, and other wireless communication equipment made by Motorola Solutions. They specialize in wireless network infrastructure, private LTE, wireless devices, equipment installations, system deployments, tower maintenance, and technology support services for commercial, industrial, and government operations. They operate the largest technology solutions service center in the Kansas City area, with remote and on-site service and 24/7 customer support.
They are looking to add to their growing workforce by hiring a Field Service Technician. Field Service Technicians are their boots on the ground techs that help service their sold equipment. They are looking for folks who are coming out of the sat-comms fields, RF backgrounds, and those with knowledge of battery backup systems, base stations, repeaters, multicouplers, and duplexers, TCP/IP principles and NIC programming. Also looking for those with proficiencies in operating various test equipment including but not limited to, spectrum analyzers, system analyzers, watt meters, TDRs, FDRs, and multi-meters, and installing Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and Bidirectional Amplifier (BDA) systems.
This is a mainly regional traveling job where you are home each night (think of a 6-hour radius of your territory). 75% regional travel with about 20-25% national travel for larger projects. All travel is paid for, and you get a company work truck.
10 plus hours a week overtime, full benefits, given company work truck you can take home, paid insurance and gas.
