**Night Warehouse Selector**

**JOB SUMMARY:** The Warehouse Selector at Preferred Produce is a crucial team member that helps to ensure our customers receive the best quality produce possible. Warehouse Selectors fill customer orders in a fast, efficient manner while keeping the highest standards of produce and work quality. A successful Order Selector has a strong work ethic, has great attention to detail, works well within a team, is proactive in seeking ways to help teammates and overall productivity, is driven by quality assurance, is extremely reliable, and is highly flexible in terms of work schedules and assignments.
**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Pull every order or split efficiently and accurately
* Evaluate produce quality, understand our policy around acceptability
* Be a good communicator with your team members and management
* Demonstrate attention to detail for product quality and accuracy
* Report any and all issues to management
* Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
* Understand and follow the expectations of workplace safety
* Perform other warehouse duties as needed
* Second Shift

**QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Basic reading, writing, communications, computer and math skills
* A strong work ethic, outstanding reliability and a great attitude
* Detail oriented
* A basic knowledge of produce and how to determine quality is highly preferred
* Must have the ability to multi-task and to work well within a team environment.
* Must be able to work flexible hours depending on the work load
* Must have manual dexterity and be able to continuously lift 70 lbs, safely reach product as tall as 6 feet high and work standing up for 8+ hours per day
* Must be able to work in a refrigerated cooler at 35 degrees
* Ability to operate typical warehouse machinery and tools and willingness to become certified operating a forklift
