Beer Capitol in Sussex, WI is now hiring for a Summer 2nd Shift Warehouse Picker. This position is responsible for handling and picking orders for next-day delivery.
Compensation $18.00 plus shift premium and picking incentives
Schedule Our 2nd shift warehouse employees work 4 days a week, Monday - Thursday, and start at 2:00pm. They average 40-50 hours per week with time and a half for hours worked over 40.
This is a summer position from April/May to Fall 2024Responsibilities: - Accurately locating and picking beer products for orders
- Building correct pallet orders with picked beer products
- Use voice picking program to ensure speed and accuracy when picking beer products
- Drive riding pallet jacks and forklifts consistently throughout shift
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Experience with forklifts and/or pallet jacks is preferred but not required
- 2nd shift experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work with minimal supervision; self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving
Physical Demands: - Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis and up to 175 pounds on an occasional basis
- Walk and stand for long periods of time; bending, twisting, squatting, lifting
