Position Overview:
The role of the Print/Pattern Graphic Designer is to design, execute and deliver prints for all of Swig Life products and customers. This position contributes to the overall success of our products and brand. We are looking to hire a well-organized, artistic individual with a passion for creative excellence to design and deliver quality products.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Design and execute patterns for a variety of customers, themes, and products
- Design graphics and artwork for key and custom accounts
- Ability and desire to gather market research and implement into designs
- Familiarity with current color, font and print trends
- Create and manipulate digital mockups
- Create production-ready artwork for a variety of materials and products
- Support the creation of artwork tech packs
- Assist with the creation of product packaging as needed
- Assist with sample receipt, review, edits and organization as needed
- Assist with the creation of mood boards and customer presentations
- Ability to combine conceptual, creative and strategic thinking with tactical execution
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Willingness to assist all teams during crunch time
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Fashion/Illustration/Fabric/Graphic Design or equivalent experience
- Will consider entry-level candidates, with the right experience who are willing to grow with us!
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop are a must)
- Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft programs is a plus
- Experience with Wholesale production and business is a plus
- Ability to manage design in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production is a plus
- Works well with a team but independently with minimal direction
- Self-motivated and ability to multi-task
- Strong computer skills
- Must be eager to learn
- Ability to professionally receive and understand design feedback
- Passion for Swig Life s brand, design and product
- This position is based in our Richmond, VA corporate office
