Job Description
Summary: A general laborer (performing material sorting) is responsible for hand sorting various types of recyclable material.
Responsibilities:
* Inspect materials and sort items or materials into designated areas.
* Ensure proper PPE is utilized and follow all safety policies.
* Perform cleaning duties related to plant equipment and general housekeeping.
* Dump boxes and containers of material into designated area(s).
* Other duties as assigned.
Quantitative Scope:
* No budget responsibility
* No direct reports

* No sponsorship available
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Highschool diploma or equivalent
* Exhibit the ability to distinguish between various recyclable materials.
* Self-starter, aggressive work ethic, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Safety conscious.
* Must be flexible to work any shift and/or to adjust shift when necessary.
* Ability to work overtime and/or weekends.
* Ability to work in various conditions with exposure to weather elements.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Ability to stand for long periods.
