**Description**
The Warehouse Lead overseas distribution for warehouse operations at a DGI Supply facility. This individual is responsible for shipping, receiving and delivery functions and must meet objectives in order to drive growth and profitability.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* May lead a team of 1+ employees, training, scheduling workload and delegating tasks to achieve goals
* Lead and participate in all activities related to the efficient processing of inbound and outbound freight, and maintaining daily operations and timely order processing, including:
+ Picking, packing, wrapping, loading, shipping and possibly delivery of orders
* Accurately performs product repackaging of orders daily as needed
* Establish and maintain relationships with Operations, Purchasing and Accounting, integrated supply and various other Corporate Departments
* Respond to customer or vendor questions to resolve potential issues regarding distribution services
* Responsible for delivering product to the customers specifications/agreed arrangement in a safe and courteous manner treating the customer with the utmost respect as a representative of the company
* Load and unload product properly on DGI vehicle(s)
* Ensures DGI vehicle is clean and tidy by end of business day
* Count, compare, check and inspect quantities of materials and product in support of the order fulfillment and distribution of company goods in the warehouse
* Assist with supporting and supplying customers and their vending machines as needed
* Maintain a safe environment in which to work; execute established safety and security programs
* Take accountability for goals and drive toward accomplishing them
* Other duties as assigned
* Reports to the Regional Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**
* High School diploma or GED required
* 2+ years warehouse operations (shipping/receiving) experience; supervisory experience preferred
* Demonstrates basic material handling/ packaging /warehouse equipment skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution metrics and standards
* Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment with an emphasis on total customer satisfaction
* Excellent communication and partnership skills with ability to communicate well across all organization levels
* High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
* Strong leadership abilities, proven teamwork and interpersonal skills
* Motivated and takes initiative
* Technically proficient with MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP systems; basic data entry
* Solid math skills
* Passionate, Adaptable, Customer Focused and Teamwork oriented
* Strong sense of urgency and accountability
* Must have the ability to lift/palletize various products weighing up to 50 pounds
* Able to bend, pull, lift, and stand throughout the duration of scheduled shift
* Ability to lift 50 pounds to occasionally 75 pounds
