The San Francisco Film School is looking for a passionate and seasoned graduate to join our vibrant faculty in the following areas: Producing and DirectingYou MUST have a degree in filmmaking (or related field) and at least five (2) years of professional experience in your area of expertise.A reel of top-quality work is essential and will be required for all applicants.We are hiring additional TA members for the Spring 2022 semester. The semester runs from January 10, 2022 to April 22, 2022.TA's must be able to commit to at least 6 hours of teaching per week. Our classes are taught hybrid, meaning that they are taught BOTH online and in person.Responsibilities:TA members are expected to: Foster student engagement Create a supportive and culturally conscious environment for students and encourage them to do their best work Perform all duties related to their teaching in a timely and professional manner Attend monthly faculty meetings Coordinate with school administration on student attendance and grading Support students in-person on shoots as necessaryQualifications: Minimum of five (2) years of professional experience Bachelor degree in film or related field Extensive knowledge of professional softwares, including the Above suite and ProTools Teaching experience preferred, but not necessaryAbout Company: Founded in 2005, San Francisco Film School is one of the most innovative colleges in the country.
