Job Summary

Strategy and Planning:

Recommend and lead the strategy and planning for Central Operations organization to unite the centralized operations groups to align with the overall strategy of AINA Operations.Scale Central Operations by aligning transactional / core operations activities to standardize Underwriting operations with a focus on functional expertise, optimization and quality.Partner with Strategic Operations Management, Process Excellence, Strategic Portfolio Management and other applicable teams to adopt solutions that drive efficiency, customer centricity and improve underwriter capacity.

Execution:

Set goals and action plans to ensure operational standards are being met in alignment with the AINA business strategyIdentify opportunities to streamline underwriting service processes, reduce turnaround times, and enhance operational efficiencyEstablish Standard Work in partnership with Operations Leadership (Process Excellence [Lean CoE] ) and drive adoption of lean practices, including cultural changes, across the Central Operations organizationImplement opportunities for automation and other technology tools to drive better data management, optimization of processes and better employee engagementAnalyze performance metrics and OKRs across the Central Operations organization to drive operational performanceOversee the Central Operations budget, optimize costs, and allocate resources effectivelyDrive labor arbitrage and sourcing opportunities in partnership with the Underwriting Services Operations function to reduce Total Cost of ServiceEnsure operations practices comply with company policies, industry regulations, and relevant compliance standards

Talent Management:

Manage multiple teams led by Managers and/or Supervisors.Develop diverse groups of teams around functions, including Submission Intake, Compliance Operations, Motor Vehicle Services, Workers Compensation Operations, etc.Identify skillsets in competencies and drive the improvement to enhance both transactional and complex service delivery of accounts

Capability Development:

Build operational capabilities to drive Central Operations performance

Requirements

Individual:

Extensive experience in Central Operations/Shared Services with a history of progressive leadership responsibilitiesStrong analytical and leadership skills with proven experience leading diverse, high-performing teamsService-oriented focus and ability to drive a consistently positive engagement for internal and external customers.Advanced team management and excellent leadership abilities, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culturePossess a continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with Lean principles in order to recommend significant improvements to our processes and serviceStrong ability to implement technology solutions across multiple functions

Team:

Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with senior management, clients and team membersBroad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple product lines unitsDedicated to providing excellent customer service and addressing client needs promptlyAbility to adapt to new technologies and ways of working to drive optimal processes

Skills:

Excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong analytical abilityMust demonstrate proficiency in Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills, Communication, Technical, and Organization, Problem Solving and Service SkillsSelf-starter demonstrating flexibility, accountability, and adaptability.Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelProficiency with all Arch systems and technology in general

Education

Bachelor s Degree in related field preferred12 years prior experience in Insurance Operations role

For individuals assigned or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, NJ; New York State; and/or Washington State, the base salary range is listed below. This range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$129,300 - 175,000/year

Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs.
