Job Purpose

We collaborate with other diverse HR Professionals to ensure successful implementation of our HR programs. Our team coordinates and facilitates a variety of HR initiatives to support our associates so we can continue to build high quality products that contribute to the power of the Honda Brand!



Key Accountabilities

Act as subject matter expert in Human Resource initiatives, including performance management, organizational structure, and succession planning
Support associates with overall policy management, including revisions, communication, and interpretation
Partner with production and support departments regarding implementation and reporting of business plan themes or initiatives that create associate impacts
Collect and analyze Human Resource data to identify trends and establish action plans to execute the company vision
Communicate company initiatives and projects to associates and management at every level
Provide support and resources to drive the development of current and future members of the Honda leadership team.
Coordinate with Leave Administrator regarding policy adherence of associates FMLA, Worker s Comp, and other leaves of absence
Conduct exit interviews for exempt and non-exempt associates and utilize feedback to understand trends to drive improvements across the organization
Act as Project Lead and Project Support for plant level initiatives
Manage and support associate internal movement process, including evaluation of documentation and ensuring alignment with company policies, budgets, etc.
Support Honda of America Manufacturing legal team with court hearings and depositions.



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Required Work Experience:
Six (6) years of equivalent, related job experience.

Required Education:
Bachelor s Degree in human resources, management, psychology, or other related field

Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of Kronos, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft.
Good analytical and presentation skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong project management skills
Excellent customer service



Working Conditions

Additional Position Factors:
Open-office environment
Travel 2-5 days annually for training and/or special projects
May require travel between plants/locations
2-5 hours of OT per week.
