**Desktop Support Specialist**
**Tampa, FL Headquarters**
Job Brief
* We are looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our internal users. You will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems and provide day to day assistance to our internal team members.
* You must be computer-savvy and enjoy supporting end users. To excel in this role, you must have experience with Windows 10, applications that run on Windows 10 and general network understanding. Must be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques and screen sharing technologies.
* Your objective is to ensure prompt and accurate customer service and allow our employees to succeed in their daily tasks.
Responsibilities
* Configure systems for individual users both new and current employees
* Troubleshoot system problems with urgency (both acknowledgement and resolution)
* Manage new employee onboarding procedures
* Resolve assigned tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
* Assist and train users in installing applications and computer peripherals
* Follow up with users to ensure their systems are functional
* Create How To Guides for end users
* Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
* Proven work experiences providing desktop support
* Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office 365
* Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
* Knowledge of network security best practices
* Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
* Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
* Customer-oriented attitude
