When a battery is running low, it will charge in a fraction of the time needed by conventional lithium-ion batteries. But thats not good enough, not even close. Ideal Candidate:
- An ideal candidate for this position would be an individual who enjoys working hands-on, in a laboratory environment. The individual would be someone who is organized, eager to learn, and interested in supporting the development of a technology that could change the world.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Educational Requirements: High School
- Handling of hazardous materials and general laboratory safety practices
- Thorough and clear documentation of experimental work
Experience/Skills Preferred:
- Basic understanding of the chemistry and operation of lithium ion batteries
- Familiarity with glove box operations
Behavioral Attributes:
- Enjoy hands-on laboratory work
- Highly independent and self-driven
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Outstanding team player and collaborator
Roles and Responsibilities:
- You will be reporting to the Laboratory Manager.
- Assembly of a variety of Li-ion cell types to include coin cells and pouch cells.
- Document cell build data.
- Operate equipment for laboratory testing including electrochemical analyzers.
- Develop and implement system support processes and documentation.
Location: Rochester, NY.
