**Description**

The Inventory Manager is responsible for receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations supplying internal service departments and outside contractors. This role plans and monitors inventory flow and establishes criteria for optimal stocking requirements and efficient space utilization in response to changing supply conditions and company growth, while also complying with financial, operational, safety and all other company policies.

The Inventory Manager leads a team of purchasing and inventory specialists that focus on meeting customer requirements and ensuring that customer/project milestones are met.

**Essential Job Functions:**

* Coordinates employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirements;

* Standardizes processes and operational discipline across similar warehouse functions to achieve uniformity;

* Drives performance objectives related to continuous improvement, productivity, service levels and safety;

* Provides financial control over company assets, equipment and supplies;

* Seeks input from cross-functional teams and establishes and measures performance standards to achieve targets;

* Ensures compliance with all warehouse and inventory processes and procedures;

* Ensures accurate and timely recording of all inventory transactions to meet financial reporting requirements;

* Performs regular oversight of warehouse operations, performing cycle counts, annual physical inventories, reconciliation of inventory disparities, etc;

* Assists in developing and documenting continuous improvement warehouse processes;

* Establishes and monitors performance standards for returns, refurbishment, idle or aged equipment and obsolescence;

* Travels to customer sites, project areas, business related events, and other Ritter Communications locations as required.

* Ability to use various office equipment such as personal computer and telephone system;

* Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Drivers License with a satisfactory driving record.

**Education and Experience:**

Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. 5 years of supervision in a warehouse environment and 5 years of supervising inventory control and cycle counting required.
