Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Operations Manager directs the day-to-day activities of the Manufacturing plant including production, maintenance, warehouse, inventory, quality and safety. This position assumes Manufacturing Plant Director responsibilities in their absence.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

* Develop and execute one-year and three-year business plans supporting the company and local market objectives including the development and implementation of strategies, processes and programs

* Identify, develop and implement capital expenditure projects to enhance safety, quality and productivity

* Translate Manufacturing plant goals and objectives to the manufacturing team ensuring alignment on relevant performance data

* Review business results with manufacturing team to maximize supply chain performance

* Lead the development of an engaged safety culture

* Lead and support a culture that embraces operational excellence

* Lead and sustain a consistent, long-term vision through continuous process improvement

* Implement and share best practices from inside and outside the company

* Ensure the needs and service requirements of internal and external customers are met

* Ensure manufacturing processes are compliant with company specifications and meet customer expectations

* Ensure compliance of company and regulatory policies

* Represent the company and its interests in the community with environmentally responsible manufacturing efforts

* Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree with 8 plus years of hands-on operational roles within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment and 4 plus years of people leadership experience or HS Diploma/GED with 10 plus years of hands-on operational roles within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment and 5 plus years of people leadership experience

* Food and/or beverage industry experience

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong change management and influencing skills

* Ability to handle exposure to all temperature changes and high noise levels

* Ability to work around moving equipment safely

* ISO or other management system experience

* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, etc.

* Travel up to 30%

* This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

* Master's degree

* Previous experience leading Distribution, Delivery and/or Sales team

* Lean, Six Sigma certified

* Multi-facility management experience
