Business Development Manager
Our client is looking for motivated and collaborative sales professionals to build their business development team.
The Business Development Manager's primary responsibility will be to identify qualified prospects, conduct discovery to understand needs and schedule demos of service offerings with decision makers.
Requirements
Subject matter expertise on the platform and service offerings for the independent freight brokerage market
Daily outbound calls and lead generation for potential new customers
Build relationships, conduct discovery and understand the needs of qualified prospects
Consistently meet goals for new lead qualification and opportunity creation
Collaborative spirit and passionate about bringing independent brokerages tools that facilitate growth
Desired skills and experience
Transportation / freight brokerage experience
Previous inside software sales experience is a plus
Strong sales acumen and hunter mentality
Proactive, detail oriented and creative
Strong communication and team-building skills
