Description

SUMMARY: Responsible for day-to-day operations of PTDC's Casinos surveillance systems, all ancillary equipment, protecting assets and maintaining the integrity of the casinos utilizing video recording and floor observations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain operation of the analog/digital surveillance system;

Observe and report on all areas under surveillance

Ensure compliance with Pawnee Nation Gaming Commission regulations;

Ensure compliance with National Indian Gaming Commission standards;

Identify cheating activities, undesirables, pilferage, and embezzlement;

Report and properly document all infractions and/or criminal activity immediately to Management;

Observe, report, and record casino activity through the utilization of video equipment;

Perform special functions as assigned by the surveillance management;

Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general educational degree (GED) required. Preferred 1 year of experience or prior certification in surveillance of the following fields: casino gaming, law enforcement/military/civilian security services, or demonstrated and accurate knowledge of casino gaming industry related subject areas.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain key gaming license.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Computer:

1. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Paycom, etc.

2. Proficiency in the proper use and operation of standard office equipment (fax, copier, telephone, shredding machine, etc.)

Communication:

1. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships;

2. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and external vendors, and other concerned parties;

3. Skilled in the use of business communications (proper spelling/grammar);

4. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of contact within and outside the department.

Miscellaneous:

1. Ability to pass a criminal background check and pass a pre-employment drug test;

2. Must acquire knowledge of the Tribal-State Compact and National Indian Gaming Commission laws and regulations;

3. Must acquire the ability to interpret and follow applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and requirements;

4. Must possess the ability to learn and be coached;

5. Must be familiar with procedures of all other departments;

6. Must possess the ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds;

7. Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize;

8. Must possess the ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure;

9. Must be available for work-related travel;

12. Familiar with all safety programs including fire evacuation and bomb threat;

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is almost continuously required to walk, sit, stand, talk and listen. The employee may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, such as boxes of paper.
