CCPI Plant Manager


Job Details

The Plant Manager will oversee the end to end manufacturing operations which is comprised of LCO2 and Dry Ice Production, storage and distribution. The Plant Manager is also responsible for ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed by all members of the team starting with him/her-self. The Plant Manager must work every day in a way that actively supports and accomplishes the Values, Mission, and Vision of CCPI.

Responsibilities are included but not limited to:

Develop processes that will maximize safety, quality, productivity and stewardship.

Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations

Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping

Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions as needed

Ability to manage safety programs that help ensure the health and well-being of employees and the general public. Must be able to recognize, correct and/or report unsafe conditions.

Understand and follow established product quality procedures and guidelines to insure customers are receiving expected quality and purity of product

Recognize that each task can be amended and refined for the betterment of the employee and/or company and work toward that improvement

Provide training and educational materials to the staff and front line team as necessary.

Achieve a level of knowledge to assure the plant is obtaining the highest level of productivity and quality.

Understanding of Human Resources principles of hiring, reviewing, terminating, promoting, directing, supervising, and motivating plant personnel

Build a trusting relationship with the entire workgroup, through recruiting, developing, managing and leading the entire plant team.

Develop and execute an effective capital & repair equipment plan that replaces older plant assets as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven managerial experience

Excellent communication skills

Strong commitment to Safety

Prior background with Continuous Improvement a plus

Mechanical aptitude with problem solving skills

Ability to create accountability and to lead by example

Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Computer literacy a must

Able to stand for extended periods of time

Able to work extended hours and some weekends
