Amentum is seeking a **Central Plant Manager** for an upcoming opportunity supporting a facilities operations and maintenance contract.
**Essential Job Duties:**
+ Responsible for directing and managing all Contractor personnel at the Central Plant.
+ Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Central Plant, and its equipment and systems.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must possess a current U.S government Top Secret security clearance, SCI eligibility, and a polygraph (TS/SCI Poly)
+ Bachelors degree from an accredited university in engineering or a closely related field, and 12 years experience in the operation and maintenance of major Central Plants, to include experience as an operations supervisor of a steam (100,000 lb/hr or greater capacity) and chilled water (8,000 t/hr or greater capacity) plant.
+ OR High school, vocational school, or trade school diploma or equivalent, and either: 12 years of related engineering field experience in major infrastructure systems including power, steam, and chilled water systems, including experience as an operations supervisor of a steam (100,000 lb/hr or greater capacity) and chilled water (8,000 t/hr or greater capacity) plant; OR 12 years of related engineering field experience in the management, operation, and maintenance of major Central Plants, including experience as an operations supervisor of a steam (100,000 lb/hr or greater capacity) and chilled water (8,000 t/hr or greater capacity) plant.
+ A thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Experience in generator operation.
+ Personnel management experience, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Working knowledge of facilities monitoring and control systems.
