The Architectural Designer I report to the Architectural Project Manager. The Architectural Designer I is responsible for helping the Architectural Designer II & Lead Architectural Designer in developing and maintaining projects and coordinating with consultants. Maintenance of active projects through picking up and issuing redlines is a job function of Architectural Designer I.

Prerequisites: No Experience is Required. A degree in Architecture or a related field is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Willing to be open-minded, problem-solving, exchange ideas, and work as part of a team towards solving issues at hand.
  2. Being at the inception of your professional career you should treat every situation as a learning opportunity.
  3. Collaborate in the creation of 2D & 3D Rendering of initial concept ideas.
  4. Collaborate in the creation of Trade Sets for Estimating Costs (For Construction cost & Sales Costs).
  5. Collaborate in the creation of an Architectural Permit Set including Ventilation Calculations & Drainage Calculations, Electrical Drawings, and Construction Details.
  6. Assist in the coordination with the Project Consultants.
  7. Assist in the Creation of Permit Sets Issues & County required documentation.
  8. Create required electronic submission documents for counties.
  9. Create and maintain Active Products Redlines.
  10. Review and Coordinate Structural, MEP, Civil and Interior Design Drawings.
  11. Interest of learning Construction Techniques and Methods.
  12. Knowledge of Architectural Design Techniques.
  13. Be prepared to assist the team in accomplishing all required tasks as they come up in our developing work environment.
Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD required
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Office) and SharePoint.
  3. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is preferred.
  4. Adobe Acrobat Professional/Bluebeam is preferred.
  5. Google Sketch Up Pro/ VRAY/Lumion is preferred.
