Facilities Coordinator for Work Management - Facilities Management - Georgetown University

Full-time: 40 hours per week

Pay Range : $30.00 - $32.45 per hour

Location: Main Campus, 3700 "O" Street, Washington, DC

Job Overview

The Facilities Management area is in a transformative state as it invests in technologies, processes and resources to implement asset / lifecycle-based management practices over its major investments in buildings, building systems, automated systems controls and major equipment components.

The Facilities Coordinator for Work Management goes into the field and meets with building managers, and contractors. They serve as the eyes and ears of the campus, and as the gatekeeper for any work started. As such, they have constant communication with technicians, supervisors, building managers and service contractors.

Work Interactions

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Logistics, the Facilities Coordinator for Work Management has ongoing interaction during the day with supervisors to review schedule(s) and work for the week.

As well, they meet with Service Contractors regarding work being performed and to ensure planned scope of work is completed to University standards; and hold meetings with Residential Services regarding maintenance issues.

Qualifications

* Associate's degree/college coursework or equivalent work experience

* 5 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Facilities Management - preference for experience in an educational environment

* Demonstrated ability to manage short deadlines, changing priorities, and following disciplined workflow processes

* Knowledge of building systems and equipment

* Computer knowledge, including Microsoft suite of products

* CMMS systems - preference for Maintenance Connection
