We are seeking dedicated and experienced Bar Security Personnel to join our team at Saddlerock Wine & Beer Co. As a Bar Security Personnel, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patrons and staff, maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the premises to prevent theft, violence, or any unauthorized activity.
- Enforce crowd control and maintain order during busy periods.
- Conduct regular security checks of the bar area, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
- Verify the age and identification of customers to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
- Handle any disruptive or unruly behavior promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with bar staff and management to address any security concerns or issues.
- Respond to emergency situations, administer first aid when necessary, and contact emergency services as required.
- Keep detailed records of incidents, accidents, and security-related activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a security personnel, preferably in a bar or nightlife environment.
- Excellent observation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to alcohol service and security.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
