MAG is searching for a skilled and motivated Systems or Cloud Engineer with 3 or more years experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and delivering Enterprise and Cloud-based infrastructure services, experience in adjacent IT Operational domains (Server Administration, Engineering, or Technical Support).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provide systems engineering support for large-scale systems, and interfacing systems within a cloud or virtual environment.
- Operates within enterprise architecture objectives and stakeholder requirements to deliver well scoped solutions.
- Manages and prioritizes multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven environment and thrive in a fast-paced, customer service and collaborative team environment.
- Applies a variety of business and compliance frameworks to existing and proposed technology solutions.
- Communicates, engages, and collaborates with business stakeholders throughout the solutions development lifecycle.
- Translates business needs into technology solutions and then develop, build, and test those solutions utilizing best practice methodologies.
- Bring strong curiosity for new technology, willing to try to understand, utilize, and deploy new creative solutions and technologies.
- Assists development teams with designing new applications with a cloud-native approach to application architecture.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
- Must have 3-5 years of experience as a Cloud Administrator of virtualization resources and services.
- Must have strong Understanding of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and must be familiar with of Scripting and Automation.
- Must have 1-3 years supporting corporate, private sector, back-office IT infrastructure and be able to demonstrate flexibility with technological adoption and working environments.
- Solid understanding of PaaS, IaaS solutions and the evolution of solutions to more to the cloud versus simple lift & shift approaches. Ability to transform from traditional IaaS infrastructure to utilize PaaS offerings.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Desired Experience
- Direct experience with Docker container implementation and configuration.
- Associates degree in computer science or other technology realms.
- Posses relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. AZ-104, AZ-900, MS-900).
