Monumental Markets has an opportunity to join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist . This position will provide direct support to the Warehouse Manager with product inventory and receiving, warehouse organization and management support.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Perform inventory counts and lead reconciliation of variances
* Provide analysis to management on product discrepancies
* Provide process improvement ideas related to overall product process including receiving, picking, purchasing and storage
* Support 5S initiatives in warehouse including monitoring product rotation and storage
* Assist receiving team as needed
* Assist with inventory counts on other company assets including equipment
**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
* 3+ years experience in warehouse and/or distribution environment preferably in receiving or inventory control
* Experienced and comfortable using technology including handheld devices and computers
* Able to solve problems and provide input when current processes can be improved
* Able to work in refrigerated environment at times
* Experience working with receiving teams and able to communicate when issues occur
* Able to work early morning shift to complete counts before daily operations begin
