Car Wash Attendant

Description **Job Summary:**

Responsible for providing customers with a satisfying experience, including fast and friendly service. Major responsibilities beyond customer satisfaction include completing register transactions, maintaining general appearance and location cleanliness in a fast paced environment while adhering to company policies.

**Job Duties:**

* Advise customer of potential risks associated with car washes (i.e.: Please remember to pull in mirrors etc.)

* Assist customer with directing vehicle onto tunnel tracks.

* Empty trash and vacuum barrels on a daily basis.

* Machinery and equipment cleaning.

* Use of materials such as water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, and hoses.

* **Please note that while performing these duties you will come in contact with many commercial grade chemicals often found in and around car wash settings.**

**Specific Responsibilities**

**Customer Satisfaction:**

* Friendly, outgoing attitude with customers.

* Projects a respectful, professional manner at all times.

* Seeks advice from the Facility Manager when limits of authority to resolve customer complaints are unclear.

* Maintains a clean location as directed by management in their assigned duties.

* Notifies management of low product and supplies.

**Compliance:**

* Adheres to all company policy and procedures.

* Notifies management of any policies that are unclear, or not being followed by other employees.

**Location Operations:**

* Maintain store cleanliness standards.

* Completes duties as assigned by management.

* Maintains safe conditions and follows procedures in times of inclement weather, damage to the property, or unforeseen emergencies.

* Reports to management any equipment or facility condition that is in need of repair or creates hazard.

**Loss Prevention and Safety:**

* Strict compliance of cash handling procedures and shift accounting.

* Adheres to safety procedures and loss prevention policies designed to maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.

**Job Environment:**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach, and lift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally life and/or move up to 50 pounds.
