ROLE: The Engineering Technician supports HEICO Sales and New Product Introduction by adapting and reformatting engineering reports to meet customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
* Prepare Adobe PDF evaluation books for customers.
* Revalidation of in-service issue (AD, NPRM, SDR etc.) research on FAA websites.
* Follow up with sales director with the shipping information and update evaluation report in the server when books are finished.
* Follow up with sales directors on the approval of evaluation books provided.
* Commenting on book submittal and progress with initial customer approval within CRM Software.
* Occasionally Submit updated Eligibility Requests.
* Creating and maintaining items in Purchasing Software.
* Purchasing parts, as directed.
* Receiving, as received.
* Performs other duties, as assigned.
