Warehouse Shipping Staff

Job Description
Shipping staff are responsible for the accurate packaging and processing of customers' shipments. Computer functions include processing shipments through our ERP system Acumatica/Fusion and using various shipping software such as Fedex Ship Manager. Will be required to lift boxes and stack, wrap, and move pallets for extended periods of time, and meet shipping benchmark determined by Shipping Supervisor.

• Check, pack, wrap, label and process orders through ERP system to ship to Customers.
• Routes key Customer and large shipments for pickup
• Schedule shipments and UPS pick-ups when necessary
• Provides regular reporting to management
• Keeps a positive, motivated attitude towards work and tasks assigned and instills that in fellow employees.
• Safeguards operations by ensuring compliance with procedures and maintaining a safety-first mentality
• Interviews, selects, orients, and trains new hire candidates and existing staff to meet required labor needs
• Maintain a superbly clean and organized warehouse building
• Maintains frequent communications with colleagues across departments and with all involved parties
• Attend regular meetings, reports on progress, identifies problems, and implements solutions
• Support fan conventions and trade shows as assigned and available
• Follow standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Must be good physical health, able to lift boxes, pass background check and drug screening
• Other requests as specified from time to time

• Familiarity with and understanding of Japan pop culture titles and products

• Strong organizational and analytical skills to oversee and prioritize projects and meet deadline

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent; some higher education preferred, but not mandatory

EXPERIENCE AND WORK REQUIREMENTS

• Forklift operation skills preferred
• Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.
• Organizational and time management skills a must.
• Familiarity with modern warehouse practices and methods a plus.
• Ability to work independently a plus.
• The ability to work overtime occasionally is a must.
