Kx Advisors is seeking an experienced Vice President with proven business development, client management, and team management skills to drive the success of the practice. Kx Advisors provides strategic support to executives at leading Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies.?Our work?leverages?primary research, data?analysis, and knowledge/learnings?from previous engagements to?support critical commercial decisions for Global 500 corporations through portfolio strategy, commercial due diligence, go-to-market strategy, competitive strategy, and product commercialization.?

This VP position offers a unique entrepreneurial role for a candidate with deep healthcare subject matter expertise and demonstrated success in establishing relationships, winning, advising and growing clients. As a Vice President, youll:

  • Focus on growing Kx Advisors within areas of concentration including market opportunity assessments, product development, go-to-market strategy, BD&L, and/or competitive strategy

  • Work in close partnership with other VPs and Partners to strategically grow core client accounts and develop new business

  • Leverage institutional knowledge, subject-matter expertise, and business acumen to produce superior project outcomes

  • Provide thought leadership and innovation within Kx Advisors

  • Support development of intellectual capital to emphasize Kx Advisors unique value proposition in the marketplace

  • Motivate, coach, and serve as a role model for consultants

  • Support and mentor consultants in their personal and professional development

  • Manage profitability at the project and practice level

Required Qualifications:??

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of consulting experience with a leading healthcare consulting firm. They will have demonstrated business development success within a strategy consulting context and have an established network within the healthcare sector.

  • 7-10 years of consulting experience with a top healthcare consulting firm

  • Demonstrated success within a strategy consulting context, with proven abilities to attract, acquire and develop client relationships

  • Required: BA/BS from a top four-year university or college

  • Preferred: Advanced degree

  • Highly effective problem solver

  • An established network within the healthcare?sector

  • Executive-level presence and communication

  • Comfort working with and leading groups, as well as sensitivity to the individual, group, and organizational dynamics

  • Creative, big picture thinking while maintaining a keen attention to detail

  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks (business development, client management, project management, team management, firm leadership)

  • Demonstrated success building and leading consulting teams
