**Description**
**JOB SUMMARY**
The Shipper/Packer is responsible for the processing of all daily shipping activities ensuring the timely delivery of shipments.
**REPORTING TO**
Supply Chain Manager
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
* Verifies products prior to packaging and follows packaging instructions.
* Prepares items for shipment, including completing shipping notices, bills of lading and any other required documents.
* Determines shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods to meet shipping schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
* Ensures accuracy, completeness and condition of outgoing shipments.
* Packages product according to work instructions.

* Strong communicator.
* Solid interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Works well under pressure.
* Computer literate.
* MS Office knowledge.
**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**
* High School Diploma/GED.
* Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
* Move/lift/carry up to 45 pounds with assistance from lifting equipment.
* Stand up to 6+ hours per day.
* Ability to stoop and bend.
