Remote Business Development Manager


Job Details

The Business Development Manager will develop business plans and market chemical products to the Aircraft manufacturers and also the maintenance segment of top-tier airlines, airline Maintenance, Repair and Operations providers (MROs). Territories will be worldwide. She/he/they will be a team player, be open to coaching and enlisting help from others, and will take ownership of every initiative she/he/they create(s). The Business Development Manager will get support from a global and experienced sales and marketing, product, and technical team.



Responsibilities:

Partner with the Business Manager to create ITWPB (Celeste and LPS) growth strategy in the maintenance segment within aircraft manufacturers, airlines, key distributors and MRO's.

Meet annual goals for new business and new products.

Develop business plans to grow Specification approvals at key Aircraft Manufacturers (Boeing, Airbus Embraer)

Conduct market studies in maintenance and MRO to identify the "80" opportunities for cleaning and degreasing new product development or new uses for existing products in maintenance / MROs .

Grow business by executing self-driven initiatives or by executing opportunities found with account plans or in distributor partners, enlisting an internal and external team of cross-functional managers, such as sales manager, product managers, marketing managers, engineers, procurement managers, and other key players.

Develop airlines' maintenance contacts and build corresponding database and grow existing airline contacts in new segments through contacts, referrals, and LinkedIn.

Track pipeline opportunities and conversion by utilizing Salesforce.

Prepare pre call agenda and report outcomes.

Identify customer needs and articulate those needs into new opportunities and products.

Provide outlook for 12 months for any new business.

Must have prior client relationships with Boeing and Airbus.

5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales.
