Rose Farm Supply needs to add Parts Warehouse Staff to our team! As a Parts Inventory Associate, you will be crucial in supporting the core of our support services as we work to enhance the lives of the hard-working people we serve.
We are always looking to continually raise the standard in customer partnerships, so as a Parts Inventory Associate, you will be responsible for shipping, receiving and storage of all parts and materials sold and inventoried by the company. This job role is made up of the following areas:
* Parts sales orders picking, packing and shipping
* All receiving of emergency parts orders from vendors
* All receiving of parts stock orders from vendors
* Performs physical counts in coordination with parts management
* Operates company vehicles as directed
* Coordinates the disposal of scrapped parts
Also, you will be expected to uphold the following:
* Operated within all parts policies and procedures of the company
* Maintains high personal morale
* Maintains excellent Parts, Service and Sales department relations
* Operates safely and follows all safety guidelines
Duties:
Order Picking, Packing and Shipping
* Knowledgeable on the parts warehouse location numbering systems
* Knowledgeable on parts and parts systems sold and inventoried by the dealership
* Knowledgeable on all forms and methods of warehousing
* Knowledgeable on the operation of all material handling equipment and tools
* Knowledgeable on all order picking and packing methods and procedures
* Knowledgeable on all shipping requirements
Emergency Parts Receiving
* Knowledgeable on all inbound emergency order records and methods
* Knowledgeable on all shipping methods for emergency orders
* Coordinates with parts management to ensure effective processes and procedures for all parts returns to vendors
* Maintains all reporting concerning parts returns to vendors
Stock Order Receiving
* Knowledgeable on all order receiving methods and procedures
* Knowledgeable on parts and parts systems sold and inventoried by the dealership
* Receives all parts with accuracy upon their arrival at the dealership in a timely manner
* Sorts and organizes customer orders from inventory stock orders
* Relays information regarding backorders and shipping damage to received parts to parts management
Physical Inventory Counts
* Participates in physical counts of parts and materials on an as-directed basis
* Corrects identified duplicate locations
* Assists in determining causes of short or over stocked items
Operating Company Vehicles
* Participates in picking up and delivering parts and materials
Disposal of Scrapped Parts
* Follows company policy for disposal of parts that are not required and non-returnable to vendors
* Coordinates with parts management and company management to dispose properly of scrapped parts
* Maintains all reporting concerning the scrapping of parts
**Qualifications**
The individual in this position should be personable, a problem solver, ethical, intelligent, and able to adapt to all of the forces around them customers, suppliers, department employees, co-workers and manufacturers employees.
Education/Training/Experience
A high school or technical school diploma, or equivalent experience in warehousing in a distribution business.
General Skill Requisites
* Good communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal relations skills
* Good computer and systems knowledge
* An aptitude for manual work
Specific Skill Requisites
* Solid equipment and parts knowledge
* Warehousing training in a distribution field
* A solid understanding of the physical aspects of parts inventory management
* Knowledgeable on shipping methods and procedures
