Collections Representative
JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates Student Account customer service and oversees the accuracy of student accounts. Monitors account receivables and delegates past due accounts to outside collection agencies.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors past due accounts and follows up with phone calls on a daily basis.
- Responsible for placement of past due accounts with outside collection agencies.
- Responds to daily phone calls from parents and students to resolve issues.
- Sends timely communications about past due accounts.
- Provides students with options for payment.
- Manages payment plans.
- Interacts with collection agencies to delegate past due accounts.
- Reconciles past due accounts that have been sent to collection agencies.

JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation Associate's degree (AA) or three years of experience in equivalent.Experience 1 to 2 years of related experience. Collection experience preferably at a higher education institution. Excellent customer service and organizational skills.Special Knowledge Microsoft Office Suite.
