We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Graduate or PhD degree in a technical field such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, Data Science or related field, with completion of your degree in December 2024 or Spring/Summer 2025
- Basic understanding of network and system design along with networking protocols.
- Coursework or relative experience with data structures, algorithms, and SQL query language (bonus if you ve completed at least one of these courses: Distributed Systems, Statistical Modeling, Data Management, Data Visualization, Network Security, Networking)
- Fluent in any one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, Java
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge or experience with network infrastructure, routers, switches, firewalls, optical transceivers
- Experience with supporting end users (helpdesk or NOC)
- Experience with network simulation tools
- Experience with lab or datacenter environments
- Knowledge or experience of CDN (Understanding of DNS, traffic management and multi-host web servers - Host header/SNI)
