The position involves significant interaction with attorneys, engineers, government relations advocates and other staff at NAB, radio and television members and personnel at the FCC and other government agencies.Essential FunctionsWork with engineering and business teams to develop regulatory and policy positions.Draft memoranda, comments in regulatory proceedings and briefs.Interact with policymakers.Prepare and review advocacy materials.Analyze legislation.Plan and participate in industry events and programs.Address NAB member inquiries about legal issues.Other duties as assigned.Required Education and ExperienceJuris Doctorate and 8-10 years of related experience.Demonstrated legal writing and research skills.Strong writing and oral communication skills.Preferred Education and ExperienceExperience in broadcast, wireless, satellite, cable, emerging technologies and/or appellate litigation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
