Pay: $17.50/hr.
Location: Bowerston, OH
Shift: 1st, M-F (6:30am-3pm)

What to expect:
The primary role of a Material Handler is to accurately, timely, and safely move pallets of material plus individual items from location to location following company policies, processes, and procedures. This role will also have other tasks assigned based upon the current work load and the needs of the company and customer
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to legally work in the United States.
- Must be willing to work Over-Time and weekends as/if needed.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated.
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Ability to follow process, policies, and procedures on a continual basis.
- Must be able to obtain and keep a Powered Industrial Truck License.
- Must be able to accurately timely, and legibly complete various forms of documentation (i.e.: Pick Tickets, Inventory Sheets, audit sheets, etc. ).
- Ability to accurately use a bar code scanner and a PC on a daily basis to accurately locate and pick items, create tags.
- Ability to accurately perform item and package counts.
- Must be able to follow instructions, policies, and procedures on how to pick, prepare, stage, restock, verify, and count inventory.
- Use basic material handling equipment (i.e.: stand up and sit down lift trucks, pallet jacks, stretch wrapper, tape guns, banders).
- Must be able and comfortable working in a team-driven environment.
- Will be expected to clean the warehouse.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up lift trucks.
- Ability to lift 40-85 pounds on an infrequent basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, and twist 8 hours per day.
- Ability to climb ladders (up to 15').
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment (35 - 100 degrees, dusty).
- Ability to visually inspect items for defects prior to pulling the item.
- Ability to use tape guns, make boxes, lift pallets, stack boxes, etc
- Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly to co-workers.
- Ability to wear all required PPE.
