Our client is a fast-growing company that specializes in top quality seafood, meats, and other gourmet items. They deliver the freshest produce to their clients; many of their fish are caught within 24 hours of delivery!
They are looking for high energy, highly success driven Salespeople who want to make very good money! The right candidates will have experience in bringing their customers the best products. Customers include restaurants currently; however, our client is looking to start selling into grocery stores, corporate food services and other entities.
You will be a savant at building long term relationships with customers, understand how to work quickly and be able to handle situations when seafood is not available on time. Due to the high quality, super fresh nature of their seafood, there will be times when the fish just is not available. You will need to be able to offer alternative options to your customers. You will be incredibly open to learning how our client s business works and how they do business, yet able to share positive ideas.
This position reports to the CEO currently.
Your qualifications:
Five or more years direct sales experience
Able to work onsite and travel to customer sites regularly
Experience in the food industry, especially products with short expiration dates/shelf life is highly desirable. Seafood or meat is a plus
Successful history of building strong business relationships within the marketplace
Proven record of exceeding sales goals consistently
Open to learning new methods and industry
Understanding of promotional activities, product lines, and competitive positioning
Must have the ability to think strategically
Customer service focus
Organizational skills and detail oriented
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Goal oriented and initiative-taking
Must be able to operate and use technology effectively, including MS Office
Current driver s license and car that is in good working order
