Summary
Under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse or the Licensed Practical Nurse the Nurse Aide assists with nursing care for patients of all ages, participates in patient and family teaching and works as a member of the nursing team.
Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
CPR required within thirty (30) days from date of hire.Accucheck proficiency preferred.Crisis management/restraint training required within forty-five (45) days from date of hire.Must keep patients safe. Certifications and Licensures

Required Education
EDUCATION:1. High school diploma or GED preferred or proof of status as a student in a school of nursing.
2. Complete the MyMichigan Medical Center Certified Nurse Aide course within 12 months' of hire.
