Job Details

Responsibilities: Develop and design tools based on engineering specifications. Utilize CAD/CAM software to understand detailed plans for tool fabrication. Fabricate tools using various machining processes, such as milling, turning, and grinding. Operate and set up conventional and CNC machines to produce parts with tight tolerances. Monitor and adjust machining processes to ensure precision and accuracy. Inspect finished tools using precision measuring instruments. Conduct regular maintenance on existing tools to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair tools as needed to maintain tight tolerances. Collaborate with other departments to address tool-related issues in a timely manner. Maintain detailed records of tool designs, fabrication processes, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with the engineering team to update and improve tool designs for enhanced performance.

Qualifications: Proven experience as a Tool Maker or in a similar role. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for tool design. Strong machining skills with expertise in milling, turning, and grinding. Knowledge of materials and their behavior under different machining conditions. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality
